On Valentines Day in 2023, Javier sent Andrea flowers through DoorDash at their shared workplace. Andrea was confused, but luckily Kimanh jumped in to let Andrea know that Javier was making a move. Shortly after Andrea thanked Javier, he asked her to dinner that Friday. Their second date and first kiss was on the golf course on Sunday of that weekend, and the rest is history!
