There are many things to do in and around San Francisco. We have added a few of our favorite things below.
Land's End is a favorite and light hike within San Francisco that has great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city!
You can hike or drive up to Twin Peaks for great views of the city. If you choose to hike, we recommend walking up Twin Peaks Blvd from the north side of Tank Hill by the Pemberton Place steps.
Another great hiking trail within SF!
Recently redesigned and remodeled! A local, public, 9-hole, 3-par golf course. This course is very accessible to golfers of all levels and is very quick!
Located within Golden Gate Park, the de Young Museum is always a lovely way to spend the afternoon, and has rotating seasonal exhibits.
If you are venturing south of San Francisco, we recommend a run or walk at Sawyer Camp, one of our favorite things to do when we are visiting Stu & Diana at their home.
Take a bike ride to or along the beach and stop at Hook Fish for a burrito!
The Ferry Building is very close to both hotel room blocks, and is full of fun things to do, eat, and buy!
Zazie is a wonderful restaurant for brunch or dinner in the lovely Cole Valley neighborhood where Andrea lived for 5 years. They do not take reservations and are early adopters of the no tipping movement.
Greens is a historic vegetarian SF restaurant, and home to many Francis Family celebrations over the years.
